Michael Smith is Principal Counsel, Real Estate for Revantage, a Blackstone Real Estate portfolio company that provides best-in-class corporate services. Michael is responsible for coordinating the legal strategy in close collaboration with other Blackstone portfolio companies and managing the development, financing and asset management transactions spanning several asset classes across the UK, Dublin and Continental Europe.

Prior to Revantage, Michael worked for Ashurst LLP, a leading international law firm, and practiced as a real estate solicitor, where he completed a yearlong secondment to a bank specializing in real estate finance.

Michael received a first-class honour from King’s College London and is fluent in Mandarin. He is involved in several charities in London, focusing on the sight loss sector, and serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of SeeAbility.
